VDP Visible

This site. If I sell websites built to get found, my own has to be built the same way, so this is the demo.

Where it started

Where it started

VDP Visible is my web design business. Most of my work comes by referral, and this site exists so that when someone hears my name they can land here, see what I do, and reach out.

I had one rule for it: every SEO and AEO practice I recommend to clients had to be on this site too. If it is not good enough for me, I should not be selling it.

That meant building it as a demo, not just a brochure. You are looking at the same baseline every client site gets.

The build

What I built

  • One page per service: website facelifts and new websites each get their own page instead of sharing one.
  • One H1 per page, a logical H2 and H3 structure, and short sections that are easy to scan.
  • A unique page title, meta description, and clean URL on every page.
  • An FAQ section on each page written as direct question and answer pairs, with FAQ schema behind it.
  • Business schema for VDP Visible, with the same name, location, and contact details everywhere on the site.
  • A sitemap and a robots file that let search engines and AI crawlers from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google read the site.
  • Alt text on every image and pages that load fast.
  • This set of case studies, so I can show the work instead of describing it.

Monthly plan

What I keep running

A site is never really finished. This is what I look after for VDP Visible month to month.

  • Hosting and the domain.
  • Adding new case studies as client sites launch.
  • Keeping the copy, the FAQs, and the schema current as the business changes.
  • Keeping the underlying software current.

The best way to judge the work is to open it.

Questions about VDP Visible

Why include your own site as a case study?

Because it is the easiest way to show what I mean by SEO and AEO. You can open any page, look at the headings, read the FAQ, or view the source, and see the same structure I would build for you.

What does AEO mean?

Answer engine optimization. It means structuring your content so that when someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Google's AI for a business like yours, your site is clear enough to be read and cited. Direct question and answer sections and clean page structure are the main pieces.

Would my site get the same treatment?

Yes. Everything listed under what I built here is the baseline for every facelift and every new site. It is not an add-on.

Want a site built the same way?

Tell me about your business and your current site. I will tell you honestly whether a facelift or a new build makes more sense, and what happens next.
