Website facelifts

For business owners whose site was fine five years ago and is holding them back now. Keep your domain and what works. Fix the rest.

Who this is for

Your site looks dated on a phone. The content has not been touched in years. You are not sure it shows up when people search for what you do. You do not want to start over, you want it fixed.

What a facelift includes

Design refresh

A clean, current look that matches how your business actually presents itself today. Your logo and colors stay unless you want them changed.

Content restructured for SEO and AEO

SEO (search engine optimization) is showing up in Google. AEO (answer engine optimization) is showing up when someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews for a recommendation. I reorganize your pages, headings, and FAQ content so both can read it.

Speed

Oversized images, old plugins, and bloated themes make sites slow. A facelift strips that out so pages load fast.

Mobile

Most of your visitors are on a phone. Every page gets checked and fixed for small screens.

Forms that work

A simple contact form that reaches your inbox and tells the visitor what happens next.

What stays the same

  • Your domain name. Nothing about your web address changes.
  • Any content you want to keep: service descriptions, photos, staff bios, real reviews.
  • Your email, phone number, and business listings. I check that they match everywhere.

The process

  1. Step 1

    Review

I go through your current site page by page and note what works, what is outdated, and what is missing.

  2. Step 2

    Rebuild

I redesign the pages, rewrite or restructure the content, and send you a preview link to review.

  3. Step 3

    Switch over

Once you approve, I point your domain at the new site. Old links are redirected so nothing breaks.

Common questions

How do I know if my site needs a facelift or a full rebuild?

If your domain is established and the basics of your business have not changed, a facelift is usually enough. If the site is missing whole services or was never really finished, a new site may be the better fit. I will tell you which one I recommend after looking at it.

Will I lose my Google ranking?

The goal is the opposite. I keep your domain, redirect old page addresses to the new ones, and structure the content more clearly than before. Rankings can shift briefly after any site change, but a well planned facelift sets you up to do better, not worse.

Can I keep my current content and photos?

Yes. Anything you want to keep stays. I will suggest edits where the writing is unclear or missing details Google and AI tools look for, but you approve every change.

What if my site is on Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress?

That is fine. I can rebuild from any platform. We will talk through whether to stay on your current platform or move, and what each option means for your monthly costs.

Want a second look at your site?

Send me your web address. I will look it over and tell you honestly whether a facelift makes sense.
